Environment and Energy

The Environment and Energy programme in Kuwait is essential for sustainable development. The issues this programme tackles are global like climate change, loss of biodiversity and ozone layer depletion, which cannot be addressed by countries acting alone. UNDP helps countries strengthen their capacity to address these challenges at global, national and community levels.

Our Goals

UNDP works to strengthen Kuwait's capacity to address key environmental challenges, such as climate change, loss of biodiversity, ozone layer depletion, and pollution control and seeks to promote the best practices to deal with issues of the environment and energy in the nation. more
