UNSG Ban Ki-moon visits Kuwait

The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon made a brief visit to the State of Kuwait on Monday to meet with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah and First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah.
He also met with UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative Dr. Mubashar Riaz Sheikh.
The two parties discussed areas of mutual concern, along with regional and international developments.
The UNSG was in Kuwait as part of a Middle East trip that includes Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Israel, The West Bank and Jordan.
