Under the patronage of Kuwait's Minister of Economic Affairs Maryam Al-Ageel, UNDP Kuwait celebrated Kuwaiti women's Day and highlighted the achievements of Kuwaiti women. And the first phase of the SDG5 Project. The celebration took place in Symphony Hotel on 16th of May 2019.
The UN and governments advocating for women’s empowerment is necessary but not enough. We need strong partnerships with civil society AND business leaders who are committed to gender equality
