Though UNDP is the UN’s largest development agency, there exists a constant need for inter-agency collaboration within UN agencies and with local and regional partners, in servicing the design, development and implementation of projects of Kuwait’s government.
To ensure effective, efficient results in the management of its projects portfolio in Kuwait, UNDP works closely with other UN agencies that provide local and regional technical assistance services. UNDP has been especially collaborating in partnerships with:
- UNDESA to foster Kuwait’s Junior Professional Officers Programs (JPOs);
- UNFPA and UN Women in supporting Kuwait’s localization of SDG5; and
- UNODC in supporting national anti-corruption body NAZAHA in its national strategy development while working on partnerships across all UN agencies.
